[Larry 260Z]

My 260's rear electric fuel pump has developed a loud clicking, like an overwound timex. I just fixed a loud manifold exhaust leak, so I don't know if it was making this noise all along, or if it just started. Is it normal to make some noise form this pump, or is it about to give up?

Mine is very obvoious, especially right after I shut the car off. It's been that way for 65,000 miles now and its the original pump with 165,000 on it. I wouldn't worry about it right now.

I don't know if clicking is something to worry about, but before my pump started going out the hum from the pump would get louder and louder, then eventually the car would stall periodically.
