I have Eibach springs for my early 260Z, and ran into no problems at all. My tires have not seemed to wear prematurely, either. In fact, I am very pleased with the performance. No more bogging in the rear at take-off! One thing that I do recommend is not forgetting about the shocks. Putting new springs on old shocks will only cause you problems. Do the job right the first time! Good Luck.

i put some on my 78 and 81 datsuns and the real comparison to stock feel is outrageous and the tires grab a whole lot better and the car doesnt bottom like it used to when i get on it if you know what i mean. good luck with yours when you install them , dont forget to put on new struts with the new springs. enjoy.
