East African rally

Hi All,
I'm new to the group and new to Z cars. I just purchased a well used 240Z that I plan on driving on the street but may use for some racing. I've been looking at off-road rallies and noticed a California driver listed in the East African Safari results, driving a 260Z. His name is Jeff Amin. Anybody heard of him? I searched the archives but no luck. I'd like to talk to someone who has done some rally prep on a Zcar.

How much money do you have and how serious are you? The rally prep of a car for EASR will run you in the region of 75-100 Euros. I know of a shop who has prepped cars for this event, but really am hesitant to give out his information here since most people here are not serious, or don't have the wherewithal to follow-through with their queries.

That's a polite way of saying I don't want to waste his time if you aren't serious.

What are your goals/reality? There are several other shops I can direct you towards to bother for much less money, but it won't be competitive EASR level prep they provide. But it will be club-racer good enough.
