Just theoretically, could I mount and E-fan on the opposite side of the radiator. My g/f's probe has it's original fan mounted infront of the radiator and a secondary e-fan mounted on the otherside behind the grill. That car keeps cool well into +30 degree's and rarely goes higher than 1/4 on the temp guage. Wondering if that's possible for my 86 z31 NA?

There is nothing to figure out...just put it on there the same as you put the other one on. I thought about mounting an electric fan in front of the radiator as well. The only problem would be to worry about the fan getting ruined by road debris from driving (small rocks and other stuff). And its also not necessary unless you have a really small, crappy fan.

i mounted an electric fan when i converted my wifes n/a to 134a refrigerant. it really helps with the a/c but makes no difference at all on the engine temp. her car never gets hot though, the new radiator cured that.
