bubbleguinea your wrong.... whores and sluts are completely different. You don't pay a **** silly! Plus celicas are cool. What are they on now, generation 7? "Z and money pit?" Agreed. Now then, The only difference I can see in an Auto Salvage and a junkyard are two things. Ayto salvage yards usually keep cars for a very short period of time, constantly switching their inventory. Good because you get more choice parts bad because you can't rely on the parts you need to be there. Junkyards are run by old grumpy guys that hardly ever change their inventory unless the price on scrap goes up. It may be a 35 ford, that might have been there since 1945, but by **** it will be there until its well over 100.
Just my 2 cents,
I dont think anyone actually uses the name Junk Yard anymore.
Theres basically 3 types.
1. A yard in which they stock cars and when you walk in and want a
part they send someone out to put it and you wait at counter.
2. Pick and Pulls, same as above, except you can go walk around
and pull your own parts. cost money to get in, normally 1.00.
3. Then some places get in cars and totally strip them down for any
good parts and label and put on shelves in back, kinda like a auto
parts place, this is the newest way, and of course the most
expensive way for us.
4. Our place has a twist on the Pick and Pull, for a bunch extra, you find
the part and they will pull it. But you can pull it yourself if your cheap
and any Zer I ever met pulls there own.
A "Drey". There's one under my front porch (**** squirrels...)
