my oil pressure has been considerably low when sitting at a light at idle what the ****....i mean low like 20psi but yet usually at a high rpm itll be around 35..id feel better if it were a lil higher..but 35 wud do if it was constant..on the next oil change im going to check the oil pump screen (cant remember the exact name, but simply put its connected to the oil pump) this may be slightly clogged which may or may not explain the drop in pressure at a low rpm then the pump works harder at higher rpm and is able to suck enough oil in...but i have a hinkering feeling that this isnt the problem just cause itd have to be hella clogged for this to be true... i use 10w30 which is a recommended viscosity as well...any ideas throw em out...

Oil pressure on my '86 non-Turbo dropped similar to yours at about 220,000 miles. I replaced the sending unit and it went right back to normal. Now have 268,000 and it's still o.k.
