I am trying to buy some nice doors b/c mine are really rusty. I have an opportunity to purchase both clean doors from a 77 280Z 2+2 but I am concerned if they are longer or different. Does anyone know if there is a difference? And, is the hatch different?

Unfortunately 741/2-76 and 77-78 doors are different. mainly in latch.

Also 2+2 doors don't interchange with coupe.

I know, I have a rust-free 77 door in my garage that won't fit my car.

I have read that all the hatchs interchange.
I'm waiting for a rear hatch off a 75 for my 78 and I trust it will fit

I don't remember what the years were, but I was going to put louvers that I had taken off a 280 2+2 onto a 280 coupe and I found that the coupe rear glass was 2 or 3 inches longer than the rear glass in the 2+2.

Oops. In case anyone wonders if I'm talking about the quarter glass, I should specify the rear "hatch" glass was longer in the coupe than in the 2+2.
