Had a fairly high pitched rattle in my driver side door. Right next to my ear, drove me crazy. It turned out to be the attachment between the window channel/guide and the door frame. These are a screw inside a screw to allow for adjustment. the inner screw was rattling inside the outer screw. I obtained some 8mmx1.25mm set screws 8mm long and screwed these inside the outer screw against the inner screw and locked the inner screw in place. No more play, no more rattle. The set screws cost me $0.54 each at the local hardware strore. Just to keep the other screws from vibrating loose, I put a set scew in all 6 of the attachments. Plan on doing the other door when I open it next to lube the window and lock mechanisms. Hope this is useful to somebody else...
