My 74 260 passenger door rattles up and down.

I have adjusted the latch on the body of the car and cannot get any improvement by moving up or down and back and forth.

The door rattles over bumps and rough roads.

Any suggestions?

steve260, I also have had problems with my passenger door and have tried without long term success to keep it aligned. It never sounded right or looked evenly adjusted around the edges. Over the years I've made so many adjustments that I had to retap the threads in the striker plate assemply and put in oversized bolts.
