Hi,

I need to know if the 280ZX came from the factory with any kind of brake proportioning valve from the factory like the 240,260,280's. Can anyone tell me for sure? If someone has a factory workshop manual, it would be in there. If there is one, I would like to know the specs on it.

In case you are wondering, I am doing some research for a brake upgrade on my 240.

dont bother w/a factory one just buy a adjustable one from SUMMIT.

Yes, the ZXs came with the proportioning valve. It is located on the right side of the engine compartment, down low on the rail, close to the firewall. I have one I intend to install, as I already have ZX calipers on the front of my Z, and soon will have ZX calipers on the rear.
