i'm not sure if it's a must on Zcars but, most others need to be grounded. make a ground strap from comp to body with wire and two eye connectors. this will give you some room to pull comp out a little. DON"T use a test light on comp. get a DMM..comp's and test light's don't mix..good luck.. pallnet

No, the ecu housing doesn't need to be grounded, it is internally wired for ground. but the air flow meter, ignition module and distributor body all need to be well grounded.
