ok if i have heard right the older zs came with drum brakes correct? wel sence i have a 82 280zx that is guna be donating a trans mishon and some drive axles to the 73 and posibly a motor when i get the 73 will the disk brakes off both the front and back of the 82 go on the 73?

The 73 has disks in front, drums in back. You can retrofit rear disks, but you must have a special Maxima bracket for the calipers. There are many articles on this conversion - search the archives.

240sx conversion brackets

we have a bracket similar to the famed maxima one but for using the larger OD 300 zx rotor. either 4 lug or 5 lug.
brackets are $150 pr .
prototypes are completed and trial fitted just yesterday.
production run should be done in 2 weeks.

can use the stock cable (with a extension) and the rotors and calieprs are easy to source used if need be
