THIS HAS SCREWED ME OVER

ok so i got all the parts i needed for the r-200 swap in a 71'.

2 days ago i droped the r-180 and bolted in the new crossmember and mustache bar.

my r-200 i got did NOT come with the front flange/seal that has a giant 28mm bolt on it.

i thought i could use the r-180 one, the bot fit but the flange inner teeth are too small to mesh on the r-180 one. WHAT do i do??

NO one will sell me the flange without the WHOLE diff. and i cant remove it at the junkers without an air gun, that 28mm is HELLA torqued.

can SOMEONE help me out? i cant ahve the garage like this for long, i need this done SOON!

also, i have a 77' driveshaft (non-replacabel U's) for the swap, and all the r-200 flanges i see at junkers are round, will that mathc up?

ANYONE knowledgable about this, please gimme some pointers?

Randy's right!

Getting the front flange from a later ZX can be a mixed bag as Automatic/turbo/2+2's had a beefier flange than on the 240's, and the 240 flange is not adaptable.
