The inner axle seals on my R 180 differential are leaking, but my manual doesn't show a procedure on replacement! Has anyone done this, or know the procedure?

I did the ones on my '73 a couple years ago. As I remember it was pretty straight forward. Just a matter of unbolting the axle shafts, I don't remember but you'll probably want to unbolt both the hub and the diff side. (check the u-joints while you are in there) Then remove the bolt that goes into the diff through the shaft stub and mine slid right out. Use a seal puller and then slide the new seal in, and bolt it back up.

If you do replace the u-joints don't skimp, get the good spicer ones.
