Just wondering if a PC based program is available or has been developed for running diagostics on the z ECU's, has any one run across something like this? If not, sure would be a helpful project for someone computor wise. Just thinking at the keyboard.

The ECU doesn't contain that capability. Really the only option you have is to get one of the old ECCS test equipment pieces. They are still made and cost around $300 last time I checked. I don't have one, my old multimeter works fine, but they would help you diagnose an ECU.

The best tool for testing a Z ECU, I'd wager is an occilloscope, seeing as it is an Analog computer (moreso a bunch of resistors, inductors, capacitors, and a few FET's) I don't really know if it even has an IC in it! ::shrug::
