anything can be done if you try...
I put the first generation seats in mime. It would probably work about the same if you did it my way.
Use 1x3/16? angle aluminum from home warehouse store.
Remove seat tracks from CRX seats.
Mount angle aluminum across.
Drill holes for Z seat tracks in the aluminum
Bolt it all together.
