Hey guys as you can see i have decided to keep the old bag, my 260z, she is running really well now, but she needs a paint job, what color do you think would be good? I am not going black, because it insides of the car is black, I was thinking of going back to the stock sliver, but i wnat something that you can see comming from a mile away. also does anyone know how much it will cost to have all my crome redone?

Difficult for me to intelligently answer either question.

Answer to Paint Question (choose one):

1. Paint your car the original color. Don't worry about visibility.

2. Paint your car another color; one that you like.

Answer to chrome question:

Look in the phone book and take your car to a place specializing in rechroming. If there are none, go to a bodyshop and ask the same question. Bodyshops that do a lot of restoration work frequently send parts out to be rechromed and should know the prices.

I went with 1986 corvette yellow instead of silver blue ancient stock. I really like how it came out. Maybe a bit orange for those canary yellow muscle car fans. If you would like to see a picture I can send you one if you give me your email address.

Remember the colors red and yellow attract undue Police attention and look real cool for that year. So I say screw the cops and go crazy.
