I have a mint 83 turbo with very low miles. It runs a little rough on idle, but isn't missing. I have taken it to a reputable mechanic and he has checked everything out and even cleaned the injectors by hand (a couple didn't have a good spray pattern). Everything checks out great on the computer, but it is still a little rough. He says it is running lean and the only way to fix it is to adjust the fuel mixture which involves drilling through an aluminium plug in I'm not sure what part to get to a screw and change it from the factory setting. That will richen it up, the only negative being that it may not pass Texas emissions. I told him to go ahead. But what I don't understand is, if everything is running like it is supposed to, why is the car running rough? Is this just a problem with the turbos (my 82 also idled rough) -- did they all run too lean? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there something my mechanic may have missed?

Thanks for your help!
Brian
