I am having trouble starting my 260Z early in the mornings when it is cold. It has a set of carbs form a '72 model by the way. It will barely run unless I just keep trying it over and over - it will run a little more each time I crank it until finally it will run enough that the choke can do it's thing - sort of! After it finally keeps running, I can cut my choke off in a few minutes and it runs great the rest of the day. Is this a choke adjustment or....?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Choke and carbs

I have this problem It originally was becuase the car was WAY advanced. caused it not to fire without go go juice. timing is very important and will cause major problems. If that doesn't help make sure your getting a good mixture. With su'sa colortune will help immensely in determining this. More than likely you have some advance or out of tune valve/timing problem. This will cause major problems. Hope this helps.. :)
