Hi
I am putting in a 81 motor and a 5 speed from a earlier z any ways I got the later style collar and clutch fork for the trans and a new slave (the non adjustable type) and I still don't have a clutch!!
could it be the slave? I noticed that motorsport has a diffrent slave cylinder for the 79-83 z and zx and since I have a 81 motor do I need the slave for that year?
or what else could it be ??
I have bled it real good and it srtill won't work

Make sure that you are using the collar that is for the combination you have ( there are 3 collars that I know of). Also make sure you have matching master and slave cylinders. It sounds to me like you have the wrong collar. If this is the case, try a longer one. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The collar is the right one , I already tried the 240 collar , and now I put on the later style collar
