It's been a long time....so I can't remember...but when you remove the clutch master cylinder from a 260 - do you have to disconnect anything from inside the cabin and under the dash? Or can you take off the 2 bolts on the firewall and just pull it out? I can't remember. Mine is leaking fluid back into the cabin.

Funny you should mention that! You probably need to pull a pin out, held by a cotter pin. Because the push rod won't come out of the master cylinder until you get the clip ring out...

Yes, some of that is starting to come back to me. I thought there may be something you had to take loose from inside the car - but I wanted to be sure before I got into it. I have some extra used ones around - and I bet I can get a kit for mine....but do you know what a new one will run? I know the slave cylinder at the trans is about $12 new.
