I hear a clicking sound when accelerating at low rpms. Somebody told me it could be my U-joints in my driveshaft. Any ideas for diagnostic tests or repairs? thanks.

<b>RE: Do a visual inspection on driveshaft and ha

So it is not from the engine?
The only time I heard clicking noises was when my valves were misadjusted (metalic clicking)
and when cylinder #6 had a broken bolt on the exhaust, that I would hear only under acceleration and only up to 3000rpm, then the exhaust sound or wind speed would overshadow that noise

Replaced the left side half shaft in September for making that sound. Replaced the right side in January for the same reason. Your symptoms sound jes like mine!! I replaced both mine with brand new factory shafts OUCH!!! But since I race it and plan to do same for some time it was worth the bucks for me to know they should be OK for awhile. Used ones or rebuilt ones will save you some big bucks.
