I just drained the two cars tanks today, they have been sitting for 6 years now. The 70 had a full tank of fuel, the 72 half a tank. What is the easiest way to clean it and all the lines. I can pull it out, but how do you do the inside, karosene? Is it even necessary with the amount of fuel still in there. It looked clean and I did not see any dirt or anything else in it, but I am afraid of the sludge.
Thanks,
Joshua L.

You might want to check with one of your local radiator shops and see if they can clean it for you. Many shops can do a good job. Next you might want to consider sealing the newly cleaned interior surfaces. That's when you go to your local motorcycle shop. Many of them have treatments for gas tanks that are very good at sealing the inside. Good luck!
