I'm a new z owner. I have a early 74 260z. I've replaced the flat top with round tops. I like to go with k&n fliter housing.

I bumped the enter on keyboard before i could ask ? my 260z has auto trans. I removed the smog pump and stuff. I've replaced the flattop with roundtop a 240 balance tube and new header. I will do more mods later. now for some ? What should be done with the fuel bowl vent lines if i use k&n filter housing with air horns? what about the vac line that comes off the 260 balance tube and runs along the fuel lines back to the carbon housing? block it off? Can I just cut the electrical line that is attached to the erg valve and remove it, or do I need to so some thing with the eletric line. Is there some mod that I have missed in the convertion.

How do you remove the smog pump from the engine? What lines, exhaust, vacuum, etc are removed and where do they connect after the pump is removed?
