K my 83zxt has rust up front under the fire wall and is rusted out pretty good.. but other than that the frame rails are pretty good.. the body is bad but fixable. the car I'm looking into is a 280z and I'm thinking of swaping the whold drive train from my zx to the Z. the Z at a glace has no rust... the body is farely straight has a nice spoiler and loovers. it's been sitting for a while I think. now undernieth was actually pretty nice... the oil pan looked wet with oil I guess(no there was no rain) and everything looked really nice... so I started poking around..... well I poked the spot where my rust is and it was solid but I poked a little farther down and when I got under the seats I put my finger through the bottom of the frame rail with ease... now which car would be easier to restore and modify.. My 83zx with frame rust and body rust.... or the 280z with from what I could tell(5 minutes, 3 pokes first 3feet) has little to no rust on the body and some pretty bad frame rail rust(just as bad if not worse than my 83zxt just in a diferent spot) I think I could swap the drive train by myself... thanks guy and gals

PS I think 280zx's look better but the Z is a classic and cna be made faster... and right now I want a car that is totally restored and I don't have to worry about spending money on it.... NO I don't want a new car, NO I'm not afraid of a little grease, NO I won't give up my Z(which ever on I keep) just because of a little problem... thanks
