im curious cause my fuel pump may be dead. why not just get the walbro 255 pump and be done with it. all my fpr would do is set it ot the right pressure right? i know its overkill, but my car should run just like normal right?

FPR should level it out anyway, so why not just go with the stock pump?
if i can evade the smog poliece i want to get a l28et
Upgrading early probably won't give you any problems. Search the archives to check though.
It will work fine. You'd have top have a MONSTER fuel pump to have a problem and at that point the fuel lines would become an issue!
Not a proplem, you wont have a over pressure issure. The car will run at the same fuel pressure and Walbro isn't that "monster" a fuel pump. Dump the stock junk pump.
Yes it is possible to over pump a fuel system. But as long as your return line is big enough to release the pressure from the regulator it will be ok.
