how the afm works.and what it does.and how it effects the lean and rich.thanks for any help

AFM measures the flow of intake air by the flap. as flap goes up, more fuel it delivers. So, the loose flap will give you more rich condition. air bypass is like carb's air fuel mixture screw. it lets extra air in to lean during idle when you loosen it. Bocsh injection book is a good reference book
