Can’t manage to grease one of my new outer tie rod ends. Passenger side was a piece of cake, but the drivers side tre has some plastic piece blocking it from filling with grease. I poked at it and can’t seem to get it to budge. Other one doesn’t appear to have plastic in the way. Not sure what to do.

Try a dental pick to remove the plug and I'll bet you can screw in a grease zirc fitting. Looks like an aftermarket piece which was meant to have a grease zirc added when installed.

(I may be wrong, so save the plug...)

where did you get the tie rod from? i've heard that some aftermarket tie rods either don't fit or have some other weird issue as yours does here... just a thought.
