i have 75 280 that i would like to put a cam & header into. i have fuel injection & am not interested in changing at this time. lots of time & $$$. i would like to keep stock springs, looked at crane cam but a lil pricey. any recommendations would be appreciated. any exhaust info too. where can i find pricing on flowmaster exh. that i keep reading about.i do have a 240 parts car that i could swap carbs with but i am in the middle of a convertable conversion so i dont have the time for the carb swap unless it is really worth my time. thanx kent

Hey Kent. I have a 240 that I put a cam into. The cams are really good but to keep the warranty valid you have to put in new rockers and new springs. Not to mention that the new cam needs those stronger/faster springs to keep the valves from hitting the pistons. Thats just what i know. laterzzz mark

you need money and time to do header and cam. crane is about cheapest cam that i know. stock spring won't be good for any high lift cam because they'll bind and float even with sims. you need about $1K to do header/exhaust and cam. free flow exhuast would be less expensive choise to gain power
