Have any of you turbo guys tried the trick of drilling a hole in the wastegate actuator rod. I just did this on my car and it responds great. The stock pop-off valve is still letting off excess boost, but it has better throttle response because the gate does not start opening til much later. This is said to provide 10 psi potential, provided you can cap off the pop-off valve and make use of all the boost without detonation. You can't unless you intercool! It probably shaved 1/2 second off my time, though. Thanks Jason Phillips! Now I've got to get that intercooler on. And hook up the Bell reg, as soon as I get the rest of the parts. Hidden hint.
