where can I order a complete urethane bushing set for a 1979 280zx 2+2 ? it seems that the catalogs have sets for 70-78, then skip to 83-whenever.

Now I had wrote a long post on exactly why you should not use poly on the rear of your car and somewhere between my computer and here it got lost.In a nut shell the reason the catalogs skip is that the suspension on a 280zx is more closely related to a 510 than a 240/260/280.Poly will bind and wear out if you have to slot the rear crossmember for aligment puposes after lowering.Stick with Nissan rubber if you intend to lower the car or check out the penultimate crossmember mod at dime quarterly .com.For intrest check out the pictures in the archives of the grossly oversize rear pivot bushings from a name brand manufacturer or the horror stories of the oversize rack bushings.This along with the noise and suspension bind is why I don't recommend them at any pivot point,and only begrudgingly at other locations like the rack or swaybars.
