working on replacing the pads and rotors. but cant get the caliper to depress. did a quick search and one guy said the pistons "turned in"? im assuming its the screw in kind? i have tried using a clap but to no avail.

how do the calipers depress?

Front calipers, Use a C-clamp or likewise to just push the piston in.

Rear calipers, you're either going to need a tool that looks kinda like a cube from a parts store, or a needle nosepliars (or vice-grip like me) and twist them clockwise to make them compress.

thanks a ton... needle nose were my weapon of choice. brakes are perfect now.
