What is the best place to get a rear brake caliper? My rear passenger one is leaking. I have one in my 2+2, but I don't know it's condition. Where is the best place to get find one of good quality?
If anyone has one to sell here on the site, shoot me an email.
Thanks

The best place would be your local auto parts store to get a rebuilt one, or your local junkyard, because you can see what you're getting before you pull it out of the car and pay for it, but I would not use brake parts from a junked car.

A word of caution. When you buy the caliper, make sure you retain all the parts you need before you return the core. I did new ones all around on my '84, bought 4, checked a front and a rear, and both had the pins and bolts. Late at night and a bit fuzzy after a 12 hour day, I boxed up the cores and returned them. Next morning did the left front, left rear, right rear. Came to the right front, and no pins and bolts. Had to hit the junk yard for them after paying $67 per caliper! Really pist, but a good lesson to just stop working when you are tired.
