Thanks to all that responded to my cry for help. The bad news is that I haven't been able to take the thottle switch apart yet due to some other pressing priorities.
One particular post really got my attention where it was suggested that I use a straw to blow the moisture out of the connector - or if I was thirsty - suck it out!!!
Just to set the record straight - the Phantom neither blows nor sucks!!! He uses compressed air. Take that one and run with it. chuckle,
