I recently went to the drag strip and met a guy in a 78 280z (same year as mine) who is running in the 11's...he gave me his word that his car was n/a and hadn't had a chevy transplant...how do you do it? I am willing to spend some money but would rather not. What can i do to see imediate improvments in my 1/4 mile?

Unless his car was gutted to 1600lb (doable) and his motor was running extreme compression with 50-55mm solex and a nasty appetite for 116 race gas, along with every engine trick in the book. I don't think there is anyway in **** his car was strictly N/A running those times. He said N/A and non-chevy, maybe he had a Viper motor!
