I just got off of the phone with the local Nissan Dealer and they told me it would be in the area of $81 for a new fuel sending unit. This sounded *way* off to me - but I have never had to buy one so...

My question is:

Where is the best place to pick up a new fuel sending unit, OEM or aftermarket, including online. At this point in my life I would be more likely to clean the one I'm working with then rather than drop $80-$90 for the part.

Thanks for any advice!

I had searched through the archives but after posting ran a 2nd search with different variables and found what I was looking for.

Thanks anyway :).

If anyone is wondering, here is an old post from Red October:

the sending unit is 60$ /w shipping

go to www.z31.com
go to the parts fiche
look it up
go to nissanparts.cc and put in the #
give credit card #.

it takes all of 15 minutes to install yourself.
