Ok I did a complete urethane bushing install. When i finished the back end of the car made alot of noise while moving. Sounded like it is coming from the diff.(r200 3.9) so I changed oil and it didn't even affect it. Any suggestions. Please help.

It almost sounds like the covers on the rear brakes hitting the drums but I checked that. It still makes the noise if you take the wheels and rotors off and put the car in gear and let the wheels spin. Sounds like it is coming from the diff.

Sam, Not good news. I think your going to have to take off the back cover and take a look. It's sounds like your diff is giving up. One other thing, when you spin the left wheel wby hand does it make noise or do you feel the bearings. It may just be the bearing are going out.

I'd make a careful inspection of your diff bearings. Check to see if there is any side to side play in them. They're not too expensive to replace but you might get lucky and find another used diff to replace it cheap. You said you replaced all your bushings. What did you do about the diff mount? Is it stock or is it one of those solid mounts. A solid mount will transfer more noise to the body also.

They are Urethane bushings. They might be tightened to tight. Anybody have an idea of the torque I should use on the bolts.

Thanks
