Do I have to pull it out the back of the dash? I cant even get my hand close to it...is it cliped in or held with screws? Ugh-

I suppose you are referring to a 77 Z. All you need to do is to remove the trim from the center Air conditioning vents and controls. Then there is a metal strap behind the clock that is held in by one phillips screw. Remove the screw and the wire harness of the clock can be unplugged and the clock slides back and out.

Use the patented J.B. Harris method: cut the dash back above the clock so you can see everything, and then pull it out...
OH! You want to SAVE the dash,TOO? Then follow the other advice...
