Rare Z's?

The high production number of the z cars ensure ample supply of all types.

Cut by year or medel, here are the lowest supply z's

there are approx 9977 70 240's,
about 500 69 production 70 240's , 3000 10th anniversary zx's, and some limited # of 300 zx turbos.

RE: Really rare Z

There was a limited production prior or paralell to the first Z:s called Z432.
This marvelous machine was 4 cylinder, 2litre, twincam, triple carb and 4 valves per cylinder.
It also had a crossflow head.
linked to this was a 5-speed gearbox.
This car produced 200bhp at approx 7000rpm!
420 was built of them was 15 or 20 designated Z432R.
I myself has a 1978 280Z and I wonder how many of these were "Black pearls"?

RE: You might want to get it insured!

Does anyone know if the Borg Warner trans will bolt in as a direct replacement for the Nissan 5 speed?

RE: How Rare? You posted 83 zxt- not 81.

As far as the bolt in, I have seen it posted as a bolt in job, but you have to get a drive shaft with it. Or so I understand.
