could you shoot me a diagram of the routing your IC piping takes? I'm faced with the same dilemma trying to go around the big bumpers, and Corky Bell told me not to remove the bumper, and that the filter being attached directly to the turbo made no difference because the IC alone would drop temp enough for acceptable operating levels!!!

Go to this address and there are 6 pictures of my old car. At the bottom of each picture is the option to go to the next picture. You should be able to clearly see how I ran my intercooler piping. Real simple because there was no AFM to contend with. Long live the Tech II! Hope this helps.

Thanks, 240, that is a nice setup. Why didn't the air filter extend out in front of the radiator? That is what I really want to do, even though Corky told me it wasn't necessary, it just seems cold fresh air would be better to start with.
