I tend to think the the material the plug is made out of is just as important... I like the brass ones better and think they look good to...
I use the blue silicon sealer. Never had a problem with it.... I did see a good trick last weekend. This guy had an auto machine shop, next to the plug hole he drilled and taped two screw holes... one at three o'clock and one at 9 o'clock. Once the plug was installed, he screwed in the screws. The head of the screw went over the top of the plug and locked it in place.
The engine that this was done on was a racing 2.4L that pumped out 280+ HP.
Sorry, I got off the subject.... anyway... I've never heard of any of the silicon sealers having a problem. Just run down to the auto parts store and pick some up. There fairly cheap to buy.
