I have triple Webers and am going to replace my fuel tank and lines soon. The previous owner capped off all but the fuel supply line when he removed all the emissions controls and installed the triple carbs. I'm having a custom tank welded up at a local machine shop that makes tanks for most of the local boat manufacturers and I need to know if I should add a return line and if so where would I connect it to the rest of the fuel system. The car runs fine now and I really don't think I need the return but thought some input from some of you might be helpful. Thanks.

RE: fuel return line, do I need it

I dont think you need one at all, because i build custom snowmobile engines with dual and triple mikunis and i never have any problems and i have seen many zs converted to triple carbs and never used return lines.the carbs just suck it all up. hope this helps dave
