How do I remove the cv joints on the rear axels in order to slide a new boot on?

Any help is greatly apreciated

My haynes manual says "when this book was written replacement axel boots were not available" or somthing of that sort, I figured it out though, you basically have to destroy the parts that hold the roller bearings and shaft inside the CV joint casing, and then cut apart half of the case itself and the new boot slides over the remaining part of the cv joint case it was a pain in the ass, but it works now. and looks like new.
