Does anyone know where the Sensor amplifier control is for the A/C system...mine is not working and was told this is the problem, but my Chilton book wiring colors don't really match up with whats under the dash....I want to see if I can repair it by replacing IC's and stuff.....its for a 83' zx 2+2

The sensor amplifier is behind the control levers on the same mounting plate. It is a bear to unscrew so much so I just pluggend a new one and did not mount it and the old one is still mounted. This is available from Nissian for around $50-$60. Did not fix my problem though.
