I have no radio and the lady talks to me.
Your center speaker could be shot so check that out by applying a 9volt battery to the wires that go to it, it should make a popping sound every time you connect or disconnect the battery, this will not hurt the speaker.
To check out the talkin lady turn on your lights, open the drivers door, and take the key out. Now if you go and take the spare tire cover off you should be able to hear the "Audible Control Unit" clicking and the little record spinning. If you hear it clicking and spinning chanches are that either the wiring to the speaker is screwed or the speaker it's self is shot. If you hear nothing then make sure you are getting power to the control unit.
Remember the talking lady will also warn you when you drive with the parking brake on (the light in the dash has to be lit up) "Parking brake is on"
Either door is open while driving "right door is open" or "left door is open"
Fuel is low (never herd this one though, so I couldn't tell you what it sounds like)
and finally when you leave your lights on take turn the key off and open the drivers door "lights are on"
Hope this helps you out a bit,
