Norm,
I don't mean this is a bad way, but it was posts like that, and the responses like you are discussing, that drove many of us away from that site. It very quickly deteriorated into a juvinile your wrong, I'm right, pathetic place to visit. I am not saying you are advocating that, but us going there and posting something similar would only fuel the fire. If you have some free time some day, take a look at some of the other autoforum sites, ie the Mustang or similar forum. About the only good forum there is the Saturn and F-body. There are times when all the lists are ok, but all to often, people who act very juvinile,(not kids, for they are sometimes older than most of us), and post this your car sucks, you are a loser, and on and on. I would ask that we please not fuel that fire. Autoforums,(aka Twinturbo), was starting to get back to a good forum, after its rapid downward spiral.

Ok. Here are some numbers for the slowest Porshe.

HP: 296
Max. Torque:

258 lb-ft (350 Nm) at 4.600 rpm

Maximum Speed:
Manual gearbox

174 mph
Tiptronic S

171 mph
Accel. 0-60 mph

5.0 sec

5.8 sec

Those are the numbers for 911 Carrera. Tell me many of us can not beat it!!!! I do not think so!

Eugene '83ZXT (And yes I had beat Porshe on the free way)

Realy it depends on how the car modifed like the v8 converson. or the Trasmission. One thing I know for a fact most of the time it the driver that count good amount of people dont have sticks or dont know how to drive sticks for racing.

One thing I did learn this is funny. I learn raceing from my mom. And she put many cars to shame and lot of them are sports cars. Some of the car she drove had was a 4 banger in it. But what made her win was how she drove and when to shift and when to start.
