I just bought an all aluminum model from Tilton....
Resurfacing a flywheel in my area costs no more than $25. Call around machine shops and reputable repair shops and get their advice on where to take it.
I can't comment on performance or longevitiy issues. I bought mine because my old one was shot and I just felt like "stimulating the economy" by spending some major bucks!
