That system sounds great. I heard it at MSA. However I went for the cheaper version cat back which is 2.5" and Thrush turbo muffler and I like it. It does drone at 2000-2200 rpm but the rest of the time it sounds strong and like a V-8.
anyone heard of aero turbine mufflers?
muffler anyone seen or heard these in action? I was thinking about one, but ****, $200 for a freaking muffler?? thats a little high.
on a side note, Im putting together an exhaust system, the general consensus seems to be a 2.5" mandrel bent system with a glasspack in the transmission tunnel to take care of the drone and then back into a dynomax supre turbo muffler or something similar. Am I missing anything? And yes, Ive searched, Im just trying to cover my bases incase I missed something.... this is going on a 280ZX 2+2 thats been lightly modded.

I have the MSA system you describe except I put on a hiflow catalytic converter to stay CA smog legal and I like it. It does drone at 2k rpms but I'm almost never that low anyway. My car does also have the MSA header. At cruise you barely hear it but at idle it is pretty strong sounding. See my sig for other mods that may be affecting the sound of mine.
