I should be going Z or no Z. Having the dredded gas fumes inside the cab of the Z. But should be able to make it up anyway. Looking forward to hanging out with some of you guys. Tony I hope to see up there! I might caravan up with the San Diego Z club.

My plans currently are to arrive back from Bangkok/Points West no later than the day before Frank arrives to LAX from Amsterdam.
We will attend MSA on Saturday, then go to the Pomona Swap meet to get parts for this 406Chev (538HP, 750 Ft-lbs tq in his 79 ZX-R Time Attack Car) amongst other things.

I send this sitting in a Falcon SVT6 outside my motel north of Sydney...

Don't forget to register!
I wont make this one but next year is 100%..

Typical answers, same every year. Next will be the rumors that it's not going to happen and people can whine how they PLANNED on coming 'next year' but now it won't be happening. Or the guys who say 'the car isn't worthy of the show'---always a reason NOT to do something. IMO not a way to live a life. But hey, that's me. I'm hated because I've done things. I guess that's because I make reasons to do things, instead of making reasons not to do things.

I'm flying close to 9,000 miles to meet a guy flying 6,000 miles to be there, and I'm getting waffling from guys who can't drive a rental car from Ontario or John Wayne air port off a Southwest Round Trip for under $300? (Or take a low-cost weekend rental with unlimited miles and drive a couple of hours to the event...) ****, I will spend more in gasoline that weekend than that rental or flight/rental will cost. And likely then the next day or so afterwards, I'll be back on a plane again someplace else far far away.

Like Lance Armstrong said "I'm sure you have a good reason for not coming, what was your diagnosis?"

Well I'm planning to be there regardless if i have a Z or not. I talked to Lenny the other day. He said he may go up on friday. I think they're planning to go big! next year. So gotta plan for the whole weekend next time. Always wanted to do the three day event.
Aaarrrgh !! .... My plane leaves Kuala Lumpur for Taipei on the 16th... Will spend 2 days there then continue my journey to LAX. Will touch down in LAX on the 18th..... Will miss it...... Love to attend....
If it was just me I would be there, but I have to take the family and we can't afford it this year.

Call me when you touch down---Frank will still be here from Amsterdam, not leaving till the 22nd or something like that. I should be back from BKK on the 12th at the latest. You still have the +1951 number? PM/SMS/E-Mail me!
Havent been to msa show in a few years, **** havent been on this site in years but i plan on going this year. so how many 600hp z's are gonna test the dyno this year? I know of at least one.
Depends who drives their car to the event and doesn't break in the process, Anthony!

LOL
There's a chance I may not be able to bring my z. I'm still planning to go regardless.
I'll be there...I tried twice to call about registration but MSA is so busy. Norm K.
Driving from Phoenix on Friday morning.
Bringing the Z32 convertible as still putting the '71 240Z back together. :(

I'll be there. Driving down from Utah just for it. Haven't been to one yet so I'm looking forward to it. Anyone know if you have to get there very early to get a decent spot? As is I've got to leave at about 2:00 a.m. to be there when it opens.

Just where in Utah? Delta or St. George?!?!?!?! That's the only place I could think of that you could be leaving that late the day of the event with a snowball's chance in **** of getting there while the event was happening. 14HRS ONT-SLC via I15...
Ha ha. St. George vicinity indeed. I've done the drive from here to Orange County in 7hrs (I only stop for gas), but well, yeah, it'd be a much longer trip if I were coming from Ogden. I'm hoping to arrive around 9:00 when the event begins, but I wasn't sure if it was tough to get a spot in years past when they've held it at their store. If the lot was already crowded in the morning, then I'd leave even sooner.
Good seeing you there Tony. It was also nice meeting Frank for the first time. Hey by the way I apologize for my rudeness. I didn't introduce myself to the two other gentlemen you were with. Who were they by the way?
