how many people are running a turbo without swapping the turbo electrics and running the regular z or zx ignition? is there anything special that needs to be done other than upgrade AFM, injectors, fuel pump? thanks.

I'm doing it in my '78 right now and it runs fine. I am only running about 8 degrees of advance to help keep the car from pinging. I used the turbo AFM's housing but swapped the electronics from my original AFM. My fuel pump does OK as do the injectors but will eventually swap some turbo injectors in just to be safe.
